Role

The primary role of the Online Graphic Designer is to convert ideas and concepts into visually appealing designs for online medium, but not limited to websites, flash presentations, online newsletters and user interfaces among others.

Key Responsibilities

To design websites, online newsletters, flash presentations, custom graphics and user interfaces

Create illustrations as per client requirements

Independently research and present content aesthetically

To take briefs and design / customize as per client demands

To ideate and evolve multiple and innovative styles of presenting the available content

Qualification

Post graduate / Graduate in any disciple with flair for design and illustration.

Experience

0.5 to 3 years of experience in similar position

Freshers are welcome

Software skills

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Photo Impact and others)

Adobe / Macromedia Flash design and scripting

HTML / CSS Programming

Ability to customize existing Java Scripts as per client requirements for navigation / small utility purposes

Any of the following skill sets will be an added advantage

PHP and Java Scripting

Database concepts (Understanding of MS Access, MS SQL and My SQL)

Microsoft Expression Suite

Corel design suite

Quark / Indesign (for print design)

Apart from specific domain expertise the following are a must in the candidate that we are looking at

Ability to learn / unlearn

Understanding of the current trends in business communication

Should be enthusiastic with the right attitude

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail and quality orientation

Temperament suited to the kind of demands in a team/process environment in terms of exhibiting creativity and meeting project deadlines

Ability to manage project with minimal supervision
