Web Developer (php & mySQL)

Role

The primary role of the Web Developer will be to develop web based applications using php, mySQL and other open source application frame works and technologies.


Key responsibilities

Develop websites, intranets, knowledge management portals and other applications as per client requirements

Conduct requirement analysis for the project and help the business analysis team in feasibility study and system analysis

Design the system architecture

Develop the application as per the visual design approved by the client

Complete the application testing and release the final version of the application to the client

Technical support to client and other team members


Qualification

Graduate in any disciple with strong knowledge of php, mySQL, Javascript, XML, HTML, CSS / XHTML, Apache, Linux, Linux Hosting and other open source technologies.


Experience

1 to 4 years of experience in similar position

Freshers are welcome

Apart from specific domain expertise the following are a must in the candidate that we are looking at

Ability to learn / unlearn

Understanding of the current trends in business communication

Should be enthusiastic with the right attitude

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail and quality orientation

Temperament suited to the kind of demands in a team/process environment in terms of exhibiting creativity and meeting project deadlines

Ability to manage project with minimal supervision
