Desired Candidate Profile

• Eligible candidates will need the following skills:
• Business and management understanding from a corporate communication / investor relations perspective
• Post graduate degree in economics, english, journalism, engineering, business management or similar qualifications 
• Extensive knowledge of business writing (not general English writing) and must have experience in business journalism (magazines preferred), financial / analyst writing, report writing and C-level communication
• Extensive knowledge in English grammar, usage, spelling and punctuation; working knowledge  with style sheets like Chicago Style Manual (CSM) / Economist style guide will be an  added advantage
• Have experience in writing C-level content online & print – thought leadership case studies, e-newsletters, annual reports, corporate websites, and similar communication
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) / Deadline-oriented and ability to perform under pressure / Ability to perform as part of a team as well as individually
• Analytical, positive and solution-oriented approach to problems

Job Description

The successful candidates will require the following:

• Strong understanding of business concepts, financial numbers / markets, economics and ability to create compelling business content for online and print medium as per clients’ requirements
• Ability to research, interview, write, edit and develop fresh content independently. Good domain knowledge of industry sectors and should be able to interact with C-Level people
• Drive projects individually and ensure time bound and qualitative delivery of projects. Ability to think like a business analyst
• Web or data-based research on myriad topics depending on projects and broad understanding of business working
• Ensuring time bound and qualitative delivery of projects
• Editing/ proof reading of text for grammar, spelling, punctuations and syntax. Basic understanding of editorial style guides and conversant with American / European English writing style
• Should have a process-based mindset and should be able to understand project management, planning and work flow to ensure seamless delivery
